Tuesday 9 Sept - vehicle returns, more departures, full moon on rear deck

In the morning, we took the hired 9-seater vans back to the garages. As luck would have it, on the way back one of them got squeezed between a worksite on the side of the road and a semi-trailer coming the other way which just happened to come to our side of the road at that time. Discretion was the better part of valour on this occasion, and our driver veered right, but clipped our wing mirror on the wing mirror of the work truck parked on the side of the road. We notified the hire company when we arrived and luckily they only charged 50euro to replace the mirror glass - could have been much much worse.

We then took the camion to MusicZone to return all the hired musical and PA equipment, including the speakers that Stuart got from them for KickShins. Then back to the house to pack all the bed bases and mattresses and the six-basses into the camion and make a couple of trips to the storage shed.

Since most people were leaving Moissac today to head off to other parts of Europe, we took the opportunity for a relaxed afternoon swim (Rita) and sleep (Tony) - the first opportunity for such luxuries for a few weeks now.

In the evening we sat on the rear deck of Kanumbra listening to the chatter on other boats in port under a full moon.
