Today started out as one of those "why rush about, let's just relax and enjoy the place" days. The day started mild and sunny, perfect conditions for breakfaast on the back deck and then catching up with emails and other digitial ways to distract oneself.

But by late morning, things had changed drastically when we were hit by a huge thunderstorm, which luckily didn't last for too long.

Tues 18 July - mild & sunny, thunderstorm, Womens Ashes, Rita swim, Sadie

Luckily it wasn't raining as much in England, and I was able to sit inside and watch the 3rd ODI game in the Women's Ashes series. Unfortunately, Australia ended up lossing this match, but it didn't matter too much as they had already retained the Ashes trophy with their victory in the 2nd ODI.

While I was watching the cricket, the weather improved, so Rita decided to go for a swim in the river (which was a popular activity with many others at this mooring site). She then decided to transform into Sadie the Cleaning Lady, and scrub the waterline of the boat.
