The weather today was frecast to be sunny, but by morningthe forecast had chnged to rain. So instead of contu=inuing north, we decided to stay put for the day 9becuase doing longs in the rain is no fun fir anyone, especially Rita who is outside doing the ropes). So in between various odd jobs around the boat, I watched the Wallabies play Argentina. After some recent poor form, the Wallabies were improved, but still managed to lose after Argentina scored well after the 80 minutes had elapsed. So, having lost at Rugby Union, I switched to Rugby League where the Storm were playing the Roosters, and here I managed to get a win with the storm running out winners 30-16. After all this sport, I needed to go take a nap.

By 1700h, the rain had still not arrived, so it really was a wasted day - we could have got in a full day's cruising without being rained upon! But the rain did arrive at 1900h, which just convinced us to go to bed early.

I hate having a day without a photo, but when nothing happens, it's sometimes inevitable. But as an alterative, given that we are in Gray today, I re-run one of my favourite photos from Gray from 2019. It was a full-moon evening, and one of the streetlights was not working, so I waited for the moon to be in just the right position and "Click".

Sat 15 July - rain forecast, stay put, Wallabies, Storm, day wasted, rain, early to bed
