1-6 July - a few days in Port Royal
After spending most of our time this year travelling in the campervan, it was time to think about some barging. Because it is another hot summer, there are already problems with water levels in rivers and canals. The closure of the Vosges Canal means we can't do the Strasbourg loop (for the 4th year in a row), so our plans will be more modest, sticking to the Rivers Saone and Doubs. But in the meantime, there are some preparations to be done.
