Sat 11 June - sunny, St Ours walk, Vichy, Paray les Monial, Dole sans tolls

The morning was sunny, so we decided to go for a little walk along a laneway heading to St Ours. The views of the various types of vegetation were stunning.

Along the way, we came across a group of horses in a field, and this Haflinger seemed a little annoyed about the flies. Luckily his hair was long enough to keep them out of his eyes.

When we got back to Bel Air, Rita went for a swim in the pool, while I took advantage of the facilities to have a warm shower (since we still don't have hot water on the boat). In mid-morning we headed off, stopping for fuel at Vichy and lunch at Paray les Monial, before arriving at Chalon-sur-Saone and then taking the road (sans tolls) via Dole to Auxonne. It took us many trolley trips from the vehicles to the boat to bring in our luggage (and the Buzet wine).
