Friday 26 Sept - Indian Summer, rail tickets, bye to S&C

The Indian Summer continues with more fine and sunny weather in Moissac. In the morning we went up to the rail station to buy my rail tickets to Barcelona for the trip home. This time, we got a booking with only one change of train, where I go from a local train to Toulouse onto the TGV direct to Barcelona - no more lugging suitcases up and down the stairs at Narbonne.

In the afternoon, we said goodbye to the Barry’s, as they headed back to England for the winter, although they may return to Moissac if they get a buyer for Hilda May during the off-season. But as one set of Piper Barge owners left Moissac, we noticed that another Piper, Reverie, had entered Moissac. We didn’t get the chance to meet the owners this time around, but maybe they’ll still be here when we get back next year.
